Etronica, Inc. Receives U.S. Patent for
Brilliant Query ^TM Software Technology

Etronica, Inc., an emerging leader in the enhancement of content search and personalization, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted the company U.S. Patent #6,546,386 for its technology invention; "To provide an improved system for conducting queries over the Internet, or private Intranets."

The patent is directed to the company's automated "keyword" metatagging system and enhanced Brilliant Query™ methodologies. The technology enables digital text to be automatically "read" and appended with metatags that are relevant to the meaning of the text. Enhanced searching for related content, or the serving of highly targeted content to users can then be done automatically.

Using this technology, websites can greatly improve a user's search experience and at the same time automatically serve up highly targeted links, e-commerce offers and ads specifically relevant to the content a user is currently viewing.

The e-services suite contains modules for remotely managing content, keywords, categories, subscriptions, Web logs "blogs", sales of products and event tickets, and content-targeted advertising. All are fully integrated around Brilliant Query™ technology and Etronica keyword mapping. Web-based publishers will be pleased with the resulting return on investment. Etronica offers a hosted solution that publishers can access via a web based "dashboard."

In addition to Etronica's new e-service offering to small and medium size Web publishers, the Etronica software is also available for licensing to software OEM's and Fortune 1000 companies.
